Review queries
See what your team and their assistants ask Brain, grouped by activity, and filter by person, text and date.
Queries shows every call your team's assistants made to GuruSup Brain, grouped by activity. Use it to see who uses Brain, what they asked, and whether Brain found something to answer with.
Only admins see Queries, under Analytics in the sidebar. A member who opens the address goes back to Overview. Until an admin builds the memory, the page shows "Available once your memory is built". See Overview.
What a call is
Each time an assistant reaches Brain on someone's behalf, Brain records a call of one of three kinds.
| Kind | What it is |
|---|---|
| ask | A question sent to Brain for an answer |
| search | A look for relevant pages of memory |
| retrieve | Opening specific pages of memory found earlier |
An activity groups the calls made for one question, so one person's question and the searches and retrievals behind it appear as one row. Calls made without an activity show as their own row.
Read the header
Four counters sit under the title. They follow your filters.
| Counter | Counts |
|---|---|
| Brain calls | All calls in the rows that match |
| activities | Rows that match |
| today | Calls made today across the organization, whatever the filters |
| members | People with at least one matching row |

Search
Type in Search query.... Brain matches the activity title, the person's name, email and department, and the text of the calls in it.
Pick a person
Open the member selector, which starts on Everyone, and search for a name. Picking a person also shows a User activity card with their avatar, department, a bar chart of their calls per day and their total.
Choose All or Today
All covers the whole range. Today keeps only calls from today. With a person selected, Today replaces the chart with their count for Brain calls today and the number of activities.
Choose the range
7d, 30d or 90d. The default is 30d.
Refresh reloads the page. The filters are kept in the page address, so you can share a filtered view or reload without losing it. If the person you picked has no activity in a new range, the selection clears itself.
Time zone
Dates, times and Today use a fixed time zone, UTC+2, whatever your own is. "Today" starts at midnight UTC+2. Times in each row are shown in UTC+2 too. If you are in a different zone, a call can fall on a different day here than on your own calendar.
Read the activity list
Each row shows the title (the question or search text), the person and their department, "[n] calls", and the date and time of the latest call. The list shows 25 rows at a time. Click Load more for the next 25. At the end it reads "Showing [n] activities".
With nothing to show, the list reads "No queries match your filters."
Click a row to open it. It lists up to 20 of its calls, each with a badge, the text and the date and time.
| Badge | What the text shows |
|---|---|
| ask | The question, plus a summary line (below) |
| search | The search text |
| retrieve | How many documents and passages were opened, and how many were found |
An activity with no recorded calls reads "No events under this activity."
The summary under an ask
Under an ask, a grey line summarises what Brain returned. It can hold these parts, separated by dots.
| Part | Meaning |
|---|---|
| confidence [label] | The confidence Brain reported for the answer |
| [n] claim(s) | How many claims Brain returned with the answer |
| [n] context doc(s): [titles] | The pages of memory Brain used, up to three titles and "+[n]" for the rest |
| [n] result(s) returned | Shown instead of titles when the titles were not recorded |
Two more lines can follow.
- Gap: the first thing Brain said it could not find.
- Denied: the first thing Brain found but the person was not allowed to see. This is where category access shows up, see Members and roles.
Only the first gap and the first denied item are shown.
A row with no summary parts means Brain recorded none for that call.
Good to know
- Removed people appear as "Removed user", with the calls kept.
- What you see is what was recorded. Answers themselves are written by the assistant, not by Brain, so this page shows what Brain returned, not what the assistant told the person.
- Members see their own totals on Overview, not this page.
